Macerated Strawberries

Slice two cups of fresh strawberries and top with 2 tablespoons of Stevia (or sugar, if you prefer). Let sit for 20-30 minutes while the natural strawberry juices are released.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh macerated strawberries sliced
  • 2 Tbs Stevia
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt plain

Instructions

  1. To macerate the strawberries, slice fresh strawberries, put into a bowl and top with 2 tablespoons of Stevia (or sugar, if you prefer). Let sit for 20-30 minutes while the natural strawberry juices are released.
  2. Put Greek yogurt into your blender and add macerated strawberries. Blend until desired consistency. We blend ours smooth.
  3. Pour on top of your favorite breakfast cake instead of using maple syrup.
